Go2Group HipChat Plugin for Confluence


This is the Go2Group HipChat Plugin for Confluence and is an adaptation of the Atalassian HipChat plugin with additional events handled.

Following are the events that can send notifications to selected HipChat rooms, configured per Confluence space.

  • Blog Post Created
  • Page Created
  • Page Modified (Minor changes / Major changes)
  • Commented on Page/Blog Posts
  • Page Moved (Within Space, between spaces)

Installation

The plugin can be installed via UPM as mentioned here.

After the installation, click on the configure link or go to Administration > Configuration > HipChat Configuration to add a valid "Admin HipChat API token"

Usage

You can configure individual spaces to notify the selected events to various HipChat Rooms. Following events are supported.

  • Blog Post Created
  • Page Created
  • Page Modified (Minor changes / Major changes)
  • Commented on Page/Blog Posts
  • Page Moved (Within Space, between spaces)

Configuration is done under Space Administration > Integrations > HipChat.

The selected events will now be notified to the selected rooms.
